After more than two weeks of work, the 2016 harvest end at Claude Lafond winery in Reuilly.

Two weeks where machines, presses and tanks worked at full speed and where each member of the team involved.

These harvests are mainly mechanical, but also manual. Indeed, each year, nearly 20% of the plots are harvested by hand. Beautiful moments of laught and sharing.

What about the wine ?

Few quantity, but a high quality. After a complicated year marked by spring frosts, heavy rains and a high mildew pressure, followed by a period of summer drought, volumes will be lower than in previous years.

Nevertheless, the quality of the grape is encouraging. The first juices are very balanced and presage a vintage of very high quality.

So while waiting to taste our 2016 vintage, we offer a return on these harvest in images.
